Irving threatens Mr. McVay with a libel suit, and McVay responds.

Irving repeats his threat to sue Mr. McVay, while making it patently clear that he has not filed libel actions against Australian or British jurists who have stated that he has lied under oath, nor filed such action against Canadian Immigration Adjudicator Thompson, who found that Irving fabricated his testimony.

Mr. McVay responds to Irving's threats by stating that Mr. Irving has lied under oath, and does so within the jurisdiction of British courts. Mr. McVay awaits Mr. Irving's writ.

Annie Alpert

September 23, 1996: David Irving warns Ms. Alpert not to violate his copyright by publishing the audiotape of his National Alliance-sponsored speech or a transcript of that audiotape.

September 25, 1996: Ann Daltyn, of the National Alliance, writes to Annie Alpert, demanding the return of the audiotape of Irving's presentation and all copies of that tape.

October 2, 1996: Alpert responds to Irving, pointing out other sites which advertise his speeches in audio, video, and transcript form.

October 9, 1996: Alpert responds to Daltyn's demand by clarifying some points.

January, 1997: Irving comments on Alpert in his newsletter, "Action Report #11."

January 8, 1997: Alpert responds to Irving's allegations in that newsletter.

Jamie McCarthy

February 13, 1995: Jamie McCarthy queries David Irving regarding Heinrich Himmler's Oct. 4, 1943 speech.

August 9, 1996: McCarthy repeats the questions regarding Eichmann's statements, adds commentary concerning his pretrial testimony and how it relates to the memoirs, and points out a contradiction in Irving's endorsements of Mattogno and Leuchter.

September 10, 1996: Irving sends previously drafted work concerning Eichmann. The work is in German and will be transcribed and translated as time permits.

(Incidentally, Rich Graves stopped by a David Irving speech in September 1996 and recounted how he tangentially brought up this correspondence in conversation.)

Jeffrey Shallit

August 3, 1996: David Irving comments on Jeffrey Shallit's essay, Lies of Our Times.

January 28, 1997: Shallit responds to Irving point-by-point.
